American Flyer "Steel Mogul" Steam Freight Set including:
1) #3316 Type IX Locomotive 2-4-2, Headlight, Ringing Bell, Electric Reverse
2) #3119T Coal Tender
3) #3208 Box Car with Sliding Doors
4) #3216 Log Car with Original Wood Load
5) #3207 Sand Car
6) #3211 Caboose, Illuminated

The set runs well in forward and reverse. All items are complete and original except for the replaced brake wheel on the box car, one trim piece on the caboose, and the drive wheels on the locomotive. The black trucks on the box car differ from the grey trucks on the other cars. There are playwear scratches on all the pieces, as seen in the various photos.  This set is Circa 1932. 1-Type XX Steam Locomotive with Whistle, Black
2-Tender, Black
3- Tank Car, Green with Red Base
4- Hopper Car, Red
5- Gondola, Yellow with Green Trim
6-Caboose, Red
The engine has a headlight and whistles as the train runs. The Freight Cars are 8-wheeled. It was track tested and runs well in forward and reverse. It is complete and all original. The condition is very good, with only a few minor nicks. Circa 1930's.
